At Melann’s Fabric & Sewing Centre, we specialize in servicing PFAFF, Singer, Bernina, Husqvarna, Juki and Babylock. Older Janome, Brother and Elna brands are welcome too.

Machine services and repairs wait times vary based on demand. To understand an accurate wait time, please call the shop. You are also able to call the shop and book your machine in for same day service if you do not wish to be without your machine while it waits in the queue.

We are able to provide a general idea for the cost of a repair however, as soon as the machine is booked in, a non-refundable $50 Inspection and Assessment Fee is required for quotes on repairs from the technician. This amount is deducted from the total cost of the service and/or repair. In the event your machine is un-repairable, it will be credited towards the cost of a new machine.

We recommend your sewing machine and overlocker to be serviced once a year to keep it in top condition. Servicing prevents any serious issues from occurring if left undetected. Lint build-up causes wear and tear on moving parts in places you are unable to clean during normal cleaning.
