The Quilted Frame Embroidery measures 29cm (11.5″ approx) x 20cm (8″ approx) See picture to right
You will need a 360 x 200 mm (8″ x 14″) hoop size to fit the design
If you hoop size is too small, it is possible to stitch out the design manually using satin stitching and triple/quadruple straight stitch. The download includes a JPEG image of the design for reference.
Thanks to Machine Embroidery magazine, we can offer you the opportunity to design and create several beautiful machine embroidered place mats using our free embroidery design and instructions in this magazine.
We have pictures of inspiration for you to ponder upon before you start your own creation and some helpful instructions in the magazine to guide you to the end.
For our samples, we used embroideries by Zundt Design to create the stunning feature. The Christmas themed place mats were stitched out using the designs from Zundt Design ‘Christmas Traditions’ CD booklet. This book is very popular around the festive season as many of our customers always return back to it when creating their impressive Christmas projects.
For the other ‘everyday’ themed place mats, we used more embroideries from the Zundt Design collection.

Tip: You may have noticed an extra 3 rows of stitching around the outside of the frame on the Christmas themed placemats. These decorative stitches were stitched out using the ‘quadruple straight stitch’ on our Pfaff branded machines. If you wish, you could easily replicate this stitch by finding something similar on your machine.
